Reflection #2

So far I have not made any changes in my proposal. I like my outline so far, it seems very successful. I don't plan to make any changes in the future, but who knows what will happen! I haven't had my second meeting with my mentor yet. I heard that we are supposed to meet today, so I will update this later. I have decided who to interview. Since I am doing this shelter and I want to know how it works, the most logical choice to me were the owners. I have actually already done one interview! It was very successful, and it will be a part in my project. I caught it on camra, so I will be showing it on showcase day. I have another video interview scheduled for next month, so we will see how that goes. So far I am very happy with my project. It has worked out how I want it too, and I am excited to see how it turns out. I have very much started on my project. It is fun, since most of it is interactive with the animals and the shelter Oasis. I have done research. A little on the computer, but mostly talking to the business owners. I am very lucky that they are so cooperative. It has surprised me that they have so may cats! I was thinking a few, but they are very busy! This is very good because it means more cats saved, and taken in from the cold.

Reflection #1

My first proposal was accepted. I think that my Long Form was easy to write. I think that it was because I have known what I wanted to do for a long time. The different parts of my project were already in my head, all I had to do was write it down on paper. I think that my mentor will help me with all kinds of things. I would ask my mentor when I had any questions that I couldn't answer. Honestly though, I am pretty confident with myself. So far my project is going fairly well. I am not that far into it, so I don't have very much success or failure. I have me the owners of Oasis, and they seem very kind and willing to help. So far everything has gone very well. I have started on my project. So far I have everything planned out. I love things to be organized and to make sense. I have done a video interview, taken pictures, and scheduled bake sales. I think that my time line is reasonable. I have made sure to leave myself plenty of room. Even if I planned it all out to finish early, it's still hard to cram things all the time! It's a lot easier to just give myself the time that it will actually take, an not just what I want it to be. So far I don't foresee any problems. If there was one it could be lack of baked goods for the bake sale, but I already have lots of baking plans. I am very confident for this plan to work out. My next step would be to star baking for the bake sale, and just keep doing reflections when needed.
